This design was conceived 12 years ago, the inspiration came from an image captured by Mark whilst visiting the coast of Portugal as his 4 year old niece ran into the sea.

When she crouched to collect shells from the seabed her dress flowed gracefully in the water around her. The reflection of the girls face in the glass table top further creates an image of water. This was firmly fixed in Mark’s memory and was then incorporated into the design.
